We have a herd of 21 Nigerian Dwarves. This is our first year. We are still learning and growing. We use the mineral buffet and are trying to be holistic as much as possible. The original herd was pregnant when I purchased them last November. They all kidded March-May 2024. I plan to breed them again January-February 2025. The only vaccine we do is CDT.

Parasite Protocol:
I have been deworming close to monthly. I check FAMACHA several times a month. When I start seeing pale eyelids, I rotate Ivermectin injection, Positive Pellet medicated feed, and Safe-Guard. I have started giving them oregano, turmeric, cayenne, ginger, cinnamon, and pumpkin. I am in the process of starting pasture rotation.
