Our philosophy is to be as naturally natural as possible, NO chemicals, NO antibiotics, NO vaccines. Unless ABSOLUTELY necessary. We let our animals choose what they need trust me they know 🐐🐥 We strive to pick overall great genetics, udder conformation, attachment, and great milking linage. Also we like to keep our heard as black and white spotty as possible as a goat owner I love the markings and their different no eared personalities.
Our management is fairly simple our animals free range all year while getting locked up every night, even if that means we have to dig out a path during the critters during the winter. We use a natural farm feed grain and don’t grain unless body condition tells us too aside from the chickens they get a natural grain also with added broody hens who free range with there chicks and the flock. During the winter we use the deep litter method for everyone so they all stay nice and warm and then come spring clean out you will realize you have muscles in places you didn’t think you did 😬 here we also use essential oils for sicknesses, hoof problems, bumble foot in chickens and also sneezy wheezing hens. I also want to add in while we are not registered I do have register-able billy and a few does though we no longer have them registered through (ADGA)
