We are a small farm in East TN (near Dollywood), that have raised Nigerian Dwarf goats since 2009. We are an ADGA Plus herd that participates in all the performance programs offered by the association. We are on year round milk test in order to prove out our lines, our herd has had 8 linear appraisals and multiple finished Champions.
I have been downsizing and moving away from showing my goats into more of homestead mini farm, learning about permaculture and herbalism. I offer price classes to individuals and small groups focused on goat husbandry and , tailor classes to their needs.
Parasite Protocol: I use copper bolus, feeding well in morning to keep them off the dewy pasture, allowing pasture to grow tall, planted Lezpedeza in my pasture for natural worming- rarely need to use commercial wormers.
