Thank you for considering us when selecting a goat for your farm. We are located in far northeastern CA in the clean mountain air of the gorgeous Fall River Valley. We aim to raise high quality, ADGA registered animals with an emphasis on milk production and that are hardy and structurally sound, with workable and willing dispositions, and are nice enough to put in the show ring if that’s what you desire.
We established our farm in 2021 and we are a work in progress. Our goals are not to increase our numbers but to increase the quality of our animals, get them browsing in the most natural way possible, and to breed sound and strong milking animals that will last and not break down.
We also attempt to employ the most natural methods we possibly can at all times. For us that includes using Young Living essential oils, giving free choice minerals, kelp, and giving organic grain to our does during lactation. The reason for rating our farm as a 2 instead of a 1 on the herbal scale is that we haven’t found a source for organic hay as of yet.
We have not done any disease testing of our herd and may consider it if requested, but we purchased our foundation stock from clean-tested herds and have been a closed herd since then. We have the paperwork on all of our animals.
Some of our future goals include: Milk testing, linear appraisal, and adding rotational grazing.
We have several goats available. Please inquire for more information.
Give us a ring. We love to talk goats!
We will be going from dry lot to pasture rotation once we complete the fencing of our property. We are also searching for an organic hay supplier.
