We raise dual-registered ADGA and AGS Nigerian dwarf goats with the goal of breeding high producing, good homestead goats who also maintain good conformation.
Goats are fed grass hay and alfalfa pellets (bucks get timothy pellets). They have 24/7 access to loose minerals in cafeteria style. Goats are treated first with herbs/natural remedies and only treated with chemicals as a last resort. They do get a yearly CDT vaccine and are disbudded (due to ADGA rules for showing). Grain is fed to milkers, although all other goats get a handful in the evening to get them in the barn. Grain is a mix of sweet feed, goat grain, alfalfa pellets, sunflower seeds, and calf manna.
