Emphasis on milk production, nice udders and holistic animal husbandry. We are just getting started but would like to stay holistically minded and be as respectful to our animals physical and mental health as possible.
I try to be mindful and respectful in how animals are raised. Babies are raised by their dams, they are not weaned or sold until 3 months old, I use essential oils to deworm but do not like using EOs on very young kids so theoretically they are dewormed through mamas milk monthly. We are working on fencing more pasture and providing enrichment for the goats to be physically and mentally healthy. Everyone in the heard is offered the mineral buffet. We have not health tested yet but that is in the future plans. Rotational grazing is also in our future plans.

Parasite Protocol: I deworm with essential oils: oregano, clove, sweet orange and digestzen diluted in organic olive oil. In the future I’d love to use rotational grazing as a tool against parasites as well.
