We are a small, family farm raising registered Mini Nubian dairy goats, laying hens, meat chickens and a variety of fruits and vegetables. Our goal is to steward well the earth and the animals in our care. We use all natural growing practices and holistic animal husbandry. We strive to produce the healthiest, highest quality food for our family and our community, while enjoying the joy of companionship and mutual benefit with the animals on our farm.
We feed our animals organic feed whenever possible (this is the vast majority of the time). Our goats eat a mix of whole grains (milking does and growing kids only), unsprayed grass hay, alfalfa pellets and alfalfa hay. They also have access to the mineral buffet, allowing them to self regulate their need for minerals. We use herbal dewormers and natural remedies (herbs and essential oils) whenever possible and conventional medication would be a last resort (and has not been necessary up to this point). Our chickens free range and are fed an organic layer pellet. We do not vaccinate. We do not use any chemical fertilizers, herbicide or pesticides on our property. We also test annually for CAE, CL, and Johne's and keep a disease free herd.

Parasite Protocol: We currently use Land of Havilah's herbal Parasite formula as a preventative dewormer monthly. We use the acute dosing immediately after kidding and/or if needed. In the event of a concern regarding parasites, we run fecal tests and respond accordingly, using Land of Havilah's Parasite Formula and a blend of essential oils. Our animals are rotationally grazed, moving to new pasture weekly or as needed, which allows us to keep a low parasite load and we keep our barn clean and regularly apply fresh bedding.
Vaccination Protocols: No Vaccinations
