Honest Desires Farm originally was a beyond organic urban farm near Cleveland, Ohio. We moved specifically to have goats. While we are focused on dairy goats currently, we are exploring dairy/meat crosses and a browsing goat property clearing.
We do have both dry lots and browse for our goats. While we do disbud, and castrate and we are happy to not alter kids if you are a seriously interested buyer. We use herbal and natural treatments first and almost hardly need other interventions. However, we will not let our animals suffer and have a good relationship with our local farm vet. We will vaccinate if you request and do have vaccinated animals in our herd but we don't vaccinate regularly. We are selective about what animals we bring in; they are from tested herds only. We do not test yearly as we keep a very small, closed herd.

Parasite Protocol: I start young kids on herbal protocols at a very early age. We attempt to check FAMACHA scores and use herbal dewormers monthly.
