Knight Sky Farm is a small homestead raising ADGA registered Nigerian Dwarf goats in Milan, MI. We also raise meat chickens and laying hens as well as pork for the freezer. Our goal is to be good stewards of the land and resources God has given us and to share those resources with others. It’s important to us that the animals we raise are humanely treated and well cared for. Some of our animals are pets, some are raised for food, and others produce food or milk. Regardless of their role, they are all treated with kindness and provided with everything they need to thrive and be happy. When we’re not taking care of animals, we’re usually growing something, planning something, or working on a project from our endless list.
We provide the best low stress environment we can to the animals in our care, and believe that natural treatments and preventatives should be used whenever possible. Our goal is to provide an environment and herbal support to prevent the need for conventional treatment, but we also believe that there are times when the animal's health and safety can best be served with conventional treatment such as antibiotics and wormers. We also vaccinate our animals with CD/T annually as we feel the conditions and disease it prevents far outweigh the possible side effects of vaccination. We understand this is a controversial topic and understand and respect your opinion on how best to treat your herd if it differs from ours. Our hope is that our natural approach can significantly decrease the need for conventional treatment while providing a foundation for a happy, healthy, and productive herd.
