We are a small, family run, holistic homestead. We raise Mini-Nubian dairy goats, Cheviot sheep, Angora goats, as well as chickens and ducks. We use organic practices and raise all our animals holistically through herbal protocols. We believe in being good stewards to our animals and intervening only as necessary.
We manage our farm holistically but providing non-gmo and organic feed, rotational grazing, no vaccinations, and herbal protocols for health management. All raise kids are dam raised and not weaned until at least 12 weeks and we also give our does times to recuperate fully before breeding again. We practice bio security when hosting visitors so that our goats are protected in their barn and grazing areas.

Parasite Protocol: As a preventative measure, we ensure that our animals are not eating from the ground and don’t allow them to graze any area too low. We use essential oils and the herbal deworming blend from Fir Meadow. The herbal powder is made into treats and given once monthly, or once weekly in times of the year when parasites or more prevalent. If a parasite problem is suspected, we run fecals and use a homemade blend of essential oils to treat on an individual animal basis.
