This past year we really took a dive into taking a more holistic approach with our animals. We stoppers giving grain and switch to an all organic, non gmo blend of milk, field peas, and barley. We stopped using synthetic wormers as often and started testing with herbs first. Our next steps are seeding our fields (non gmo blend of goat forage), working on the soil and incorporating more minerals and herbs for better health.
Working on soil health, rotational grazing, growing more if their feed, and learning as we go!

Parasite Protocol: We do not routinely deworm and are learning how to treat with herbs rather than synthetic workers. We do still occasionally use synthetic workers when we can’t get a hold on it. We hope to see an improvement in this with the new practices going into play.
