Family mini farm with pet goats used for milking and clearing land. Our goats are not registered but I selected my goats from good milkers and some have one to both parents registered. We are working to be an environmentally friendly farm with respected and loved goats.
My goats enjoy being walked routinely to forage and being driven to other locations to forage. In the evening I give them a bit of grain with their Probiotics, herbs, BOSS, Pumpkin seeds, Seaweed. They enjoy a mineral buffet. My female goats have been tested for CAE, CL and Johne's and my buck. I believe goats have nutritional wisdom and can treat themselves when sick, but will give herbal medicine and take to vet and do standard medicine if needed.

Parasite Protocol: I do not deworm yearly, I will offer plants with high tannin like Oak or bark of Ponderosa Pine. If that is not enough I will give Oregano essence with olive oil or other herbal remedies like Molly's Herbal dewormer. (I give weekly Molly's herb formula to everyone routinely). I will use chemical dewormer if I feel it is needed.
