Windy Poplar Homestead is located just outside of San Antonio, TX. We raise ADGA registered Nigerian Dwarf Goats with a focus on correct conformation and milk production. Our goats get organic feed, Alfalfa and Coastal Hay, high quality minerals, and access to pasture. We’re committed to holistic management practices and 2023 is our first year to participate in Linear Appraisal and Milk Testing, which has been very educational 🙂
We also raise Blue & Black Copper Marans, Ameraucanas, and a wide range of Olive Eggers.
We do not use vaccinations or chemicals and opt for herbal and holistic treatments for any injuries or illness.

Parasite Protocol: We do not deworm on a schedule and treat only when symptoms and fecal test indicate. We use essential oils and herbs for treatment.
