Profile

Our small farm raises endangered breeds as naturally as possible. We’ve been raising goats since 1997 and ducks/geese since 2007. We are always learning better ways but are dedicated to these breeds as we’ve seen many and these are truly “worth it”. 
We strive for “low input” species. We don’t vaccinate, disbud, neuter, treat chemically for worms or coccidia unless medically necessary.

Parasite Protocol:
Mollys Herbal weekly. If FAMANCHA is poor but goat looks healthy - we just watch it, if poor and the goat looks lethargic then added oregano EO, probiotics, and possible anti-diarrheal. If all else fails, we use levamisole on milking does or Cydectin on dry ones. That is a rare occurrence though.
