We are a small homestead in Upstate, SC. Our journey started 8 years ago with chickens and we have grown in many ways since! We now have 30 chickens and 5 goats. Plus our large garden! We started out raising our animals holistically and have continued those methods with our home and animals 🌱.
My chickens are rotationally grazed around our property and have a diet of organic feed that is fermented. They also get herbal tonics added to their water as needed.
My goat herd is currently kept in a dry lot. They are let out 2x a day to graze during milking times and outside chores. Their diet consists of local low spray hay (when available), chaffhaye, organic alfalfa, organic grains, and whatever forage they find the yard and woods behind our home.

Parasite Protocol: Our deworming for all animals is herbal and we have yet to need another method. If an animal would ever need a chemical dewormer, I wound disclose which ones have needed it.
The goats get a once a week treat that has DWA and GI soother.
Chickens get an herbal tonic by Moon Light Mile added to their water a few times a year to prevent parasites.
